Eileen has worked in the tech industry for 20 years and is currently a Director at Symantec, as well as an Advanced Certified Mentor. She holds a BS in Information Technology and has spent the majority of her career managing software and hardware product releases with multi-cultural teams, often times being the only woman in the room. She doesn’t shy away from the hard topics and will speak candidly about being a woman in tech and challenging men to do more to address the issues of today.

She also volunteers with the US State Dept TechWomen Program as a Professional Mentor which provides her the opportunity to travel and learn about the women and cultures in the Middle East, sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia.

From these experiences, she has become passionate about helping women and she volunteers over 200 hours a year in this vein. The way she tells her stories is engaging and inspiring. She uses humor and authenticity to gain the audience’s trust and then encourages them to go out and find their passion and feed their soul with inspiring work that matters.
